There is no other way to utter it – our future is in a precarious state. Coming from a positive outlook on life, I am quite realistic on this. From high costs, to a lack of meritocracy in decision-making, youths cannot remain on the fence. Cannot remain without a say.

That is why Żgħażagħ għall-Bidla (Youths for Change) came into light.

A new independent youth group that strives for change, encounter, and possibility. The aim is to unite young people, discuss different themes, and come up with solutions. We also strive to unite with other activists, NGOs, and individuals that have the best interests of Malta in mind – nothing else.

Our first event is going to be on the 8th of April 2026, starting with the education system: what needs to change? what are the frustrations? what needs to be done? From compulsory education to tertiary, everyone is welcome to voice their concerns and solutions.

We believe that this initiative can bring great things.

As we have no other alternative.
