About

By profession, I am a teacher of Ethics in Secondary education, Malta. On a casual basis, I also lecture Master in Teaching & Learning students at the University of Malta, undergraduate students in education at the Malta Leadership Institute (MLI), and deliver Personal Development sessions at the Institute for Education (IfE).

My passion for education developed during 2021-23, as I pursued a Master in Teaching and Learning (MTL) in Ethics Education at the University of Malta. During the past years, I was involved in teaching and tutoring experiences, co-organised educational projects, and have written and presented peer-reviewed papers. Furthermore, I regularly write press articles on the intersections between education and sociopolitics.

All of the above has directed my research interests. These interests blend around the philosophy of education and the social sciences, particularly on issues of public participation, political activism, and education for social justice.

My passion for education activism extends beyond the classroom. Recently, I published a policy document, comprising of 100 policy recommendations on education. This document aims to humanise education systems, that is, to prepare students and educators to be active and ethical beings. On a regular basis, I continue to share my activism, work, and observations on my socials.
