Humanising the Maltese Education System: A Manifesto of Hope

A policy framework proposing 100 recommendations for an education system that keeps the human person central while placing economic demands within their proper limits.

The proposals are organised around three broad pillars: (1) a philosophy of humanising education; (2) educators’ agency and esteem; (3) students as humans (rather than merely prospective workers).

Youth initiative · March 2026

Żgħażagħ għall-Bidla

An independent youth initiative created to bring young people, activism and change closer together. It develops spaces where young people can discuss sociopolitical issues, voice their experiences and formulate practical proposals.

The initiative’s first public focus was the education system, opening discussion across secondary, post-secondary and tertiary experiences.
